Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City Council of City of Abilene to be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 4:30 PM at 555 Walnut Street, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, Abilene, TX, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.

All consent agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember or Citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately. 
1.Resolution: Authorization to spend more than $50,000 in the course of the fiscal year for firefighter uniforms and related equipment. (Michael Burden)

Resolution:  To execute a contract with the Siddons-Martin Emergency Group for the purchase of two (2) Pierce Impel Pumpers for the Fire Department (Michael Burden)
