Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City Council of City of Abilene to be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 4:30 PM at 555 Walnut Street, 2nd Floor - Council Chambers, Abilene, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.



1.Councilman Bruce Kreitler

Executive Session -

The City Council of the City of Abilene reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any   time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections


1.     551.071 (Consultation with Attorney)    

           A) Street Maintenance Fee   


2.     551.074 (Personnel Matters)

           A)  Discussion of enforcement of City Council rules of procedure- Censure of all councilmembers and/or Mayor for violations.



Reconvene into Open Session

    Possible discussion and resolutions of public censure of any Councilmember and/or Mayor.

3.Ordinance: (First Reading) on Establishing a Street Maintenance Fee; and setting a public hearing on October 12th 2017. (Childers)

There will be no votes or any formal actions taken on subjects presented during public comment.  The public comment period will only allow members of the public to present ideas and information to city officials and staff.
