Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission to be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 1:30 PM at 555 Walnut Street, Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, Abilene, TX, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.

1.Call to Order
a.Approval of minutes from the previous meeting, August 7, 2017
a.FP-3817: Griffith Lakes Estates, Section 1, Being 54.270 Acres out of the NE/4 of Section NO. 33, Abstract NO. 1412 & the SE/4 of Section NO. 33, Abstract NO. 1432, Blind Asylum Lands, City of Abilene, Taylor County, Texas.
b.FRP-5617: Lot 201, Hardin Simmons Addition, Abilene, Taylor County, Texas.

TC-2017-05  Public hearing and possible vote to recommend approval or denial to the City Council on a request from G&P Rentals/Yonge Rentals, agent Jim Hatchett Jr., to abandon all of a 20' wide, east-west alley through Block 9, Oakwood Addition, City of Abilene, Taylor County, Texas, as shown on plat recorded in Volume 2, Page 391, Plat Records, Taylor County, Texas., located at 2960 North 1st Street.

6.Directors Report:
a.Recent City Council decisions from meetings held on August 10, 2017 and August 24, 2017 regarding items recommended by the Planning & Zoning Commission.
